strangely enough, i am looking forward to thanksgiving this year. i will be making a full-blown thanksgiving meal for the first time. i suppose it won’t be that different from doing christmas dinner, but somehow there’s more pressure with it being thanksgiving.

and i was afraid it wasn’t going to happen. my dad is being his usual stubborn self. he’s having problems with his feet and his back, apparently, but do you think he’ll go to the doctor? haha, yeah, right. my mom was saying she wasn’t sure how he’d be for thanksgiving. we have, i don’t know, around eight steps up to our porch and he has a lot of trouble with them on the best of days. but he has said today that he thinks he can handle coming over on thursday and i’m all excited. what is that all about?
if this keeps up, i might even start looking forward to christmas. help me!
