>i’ve been trying to keep up a little bit with the news the last few months. i’m still not completely up on things, but i’m certainly better informed than i used to be. if nothing else, i read the headlines that pop up throughout the day through my yahoo email.

now, i will admit that some of the headlines that i tend to read aren’t always the really important stuff. sometimes some of the fluff attracts my attention and i have to see what is going on. and so it was the case with this story.

here’s a little rundown for those that don’t feel like clicking on the link. the wife of a televangelist allegedly got into a scuffle with a flight attendant over a stain on her first class seat and now the flight attendant is suing her.

at first look, this seems pretty straight forward. i’m not sure there’s been a televangelist yet that hasn’t had some sort of controversy, either themselves or their spouses or both. and if you see her, she’s young and pretty and you can just imagine her being a real bitch. but…

then you get towards the end of the article.

According to court documents, Brown claims that she suffers from anxiety and hemorrhoids because of the incident and said her faith was affected. She is also suing Osteen for medical expenses for counseling.

ok. hemorrhoids? she’s suing for hemorrhoids? am i the only one that’s thinking that she’s just looking for some easy money? especially when it’s not the first time she’s claimed to be attacked.
