here's my gripe…

>why can’t i think of titles anymore?

>probably because i just realized the other night that i’ve been blogging for over two years. it might even be closer to four years ago. i actually started blogging on livejournal, and i possibly started maybe in may of 2004. i can’t remember. i went to check a few weeks ago because i was curious. and because i knew that my 360 blogiversary was coming up. if you’re wondering, it was april 7 that i started on 360. totally passed me by. i guess because i don’t blog on their anymore.

is there even a reason to mark that on the calendar now? i mean, most of us have left 360, so is my 360 blogiversary even relevant? especially considering i started my first blog somewhere esle? should i go look up when i started on livejournal again and mark that as my blogiversary? should i start commemorating when i started here? could i be any more pathetic for asking these questions?

now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about what this blog is really about: the socioeconomic ramifications of china hosting the olympics.

haha! not really.

no, actually, what i want to talk about is the fact that i miss my old coffee mug. remember when i broke it? a little piece of me died that day. i still haven’t quite gotten over it’s untimely demise. no mug i’ve used since quite measures up. it was the perfect size. the perfect weight. it kept my coffee at the perfect temperature. it was just…perfect.

i’ve tried other mugs. and i’m constantly on the look out for something similar. but none of them really measure up. the closest i’ve been able to come so far is this mug. it’s ok, but frankly i’m sick of seeing the snowman. i mean, it’s spring! who wants to be looking at frosty here when it’s 55F out?

*sigh* i need a nap. or more coffee. or both.

now, about the socioeconomic ramifications of china holding the olympics…
